Fallen Hero Blazing Sword
Pair the Fallen Hero armor set with the one-handed Blazing Sword for a counter-attack loop that fires 50-foot energy projectiles on every locked-on light attack. When you take a hit, the armor drops a pulse bomb for area damage plus a yellow energy orb that, when grabbed, doubles projectile damage and lets you fire 10 shots in 15 seconds. The entire core kit comes from the free Tombs of the Fallen update with no paid DLC required, making it one of the strongest early-access power spikes in the game.
Damage
50-foot energy projectile on every locked-on light attack. Burst window doubles damage for 10 shots over 15 seconds.
Survivability
Pulse-bomb counter on every hit taken plus full Isu Wolf-class armor. Basically unstoppable in the early game.
Boss
Out-ranges most encounters at 50 feet. Counter-burst window deletes elites between phases.

Isu-forged sword that fires a homing energy projectile on every locked-on light attack, hitting targets from up to 50 feet away. The hidden Fallen Hero synergy doubles projectile damage and grants a 10-shot burst window every 15 seconds when you interact with the yellow energy orb the armor drops on hit.
How to Obtain

Isu-forged helmet recovered from Venutius's tomb in Eurvicscire. Counts toward the five-piece Fallen Hero set perk that drops a pulse bomb every time you take a hit.
How to Obtain

Equip all five Fallen Hero pieces to activate the set perk. Every time you take a hit, the armor drops a pulse bomb that staggers and damages enemies in an area. The hidden synergy with the Blazing Sword spawns a yellow energy orb alongside each pulse bomb. Walk into the orb to double your projectile damage and bump capacity from 5 to 10 shots over 15 seconds.
Combat Strategy
- ▸Lock onto an enemy from up to 50 feet away using the targeting toggle.
- ▸Spam light attacks. Each locked-on light attack throws one energy projectile until the 5-shot pool runs dry.
- ▸Hold position while projectiles do the work and let any melee enemy that closes the gap eat your pulse-bomb counter.
- ▸Stack Gae Bolg's lightning shock by landing three consecutive spear hits when an enemy survives the projectile chain.
- ▸Bait a hit on purpose when surrounded so the Fallen Hero set drops a pulse bomb that staggers and damages everything nearby.
- ▸Use the pulse-bomb stagger window to reposition and reset your projectile cooldown.
- ▸Only dodge if multiple enemies are inside your hit-confirm window at the same time, since taking the hit feeds the burst loop.
- ▸Spot the yellow energy orb that drops alongside the pulse bomb after you take damage.
- ▸Walk into the orb to consume it. Projectile damage doubles and capacity jumps from 5 to 10 shots for the next 15 seconds.
- ▸Burn the full 10-shot window on the most dangerous target in view. Elites and named NPCs die inside one buffed magazine.
- ▸Stack Gae Bolg lightning procs during the window for an extra shock layer on top of the doubled projectile damage.
- ▸Send Synin out and scan the sky for green tornadoes. Each tornado marks a Tombs of the Fallen entrance you still need to clear.
- ▸After every tomb cutscene, look for the new passage that opens up and grab the small Tomb Artifact hidden behind it.
- ▸Save Eden Ring Station for last. The hidden door under Manius's Sanctum only opens once all five small artifacts are collected and all six tombs are complete.
