Aspect of Medea (Blitz Build)
The single most broken weapon aspect in Hades 2. Medea's unconditional +90% attack and special damage means you're already ahead before the first boon room. Rapidly cycle attack-into-special to load and instantly detonate Zeus Blitz, then sacrifice a stack of Hera fodder boons to King's Ransom, rocketing Zeus abilities to extreme levels and producing 3,000+ damage hits with 100% Double Strike uptime.

Grants an unconditional +90% attack and special damage, equivalent to a fully-leveled Apollo or Aphrodite boon before you've even seen a god room. Load attacks into yourself, then detonate them instantly with your Special.
Insanely strong if RNG allows. Your attack automatically fires an Omega Attack whenever you retrieve a skull, triggering a massive independent damage instance at the cost of some magic.

Equip this before Night 1 to guarantee a Zeus boon offer. Zeus Special is mandatory and must be secured in the first room. Do not risk missing it.

Combat Strategy
- ▸Equip Cloud Bangle before Night 1 to guarantee a Zeus boon in the first room.
- ▸At the start of each room, spend a small amount of magic to drop below 100% and activate The Huntress arcana damage buff.
- ▸Take every Hera boon you see. Do not skip any, they are all fodder for King's Ransom.
- ▸Roll your thumb rapidly: Attack, Special, Attack, Special. Fire one skull at a time and never pre-load multiple.
- ▸Your Special applies Zeus Blitz AND detonates the loaded attack simultaneously in the same frame.
- ▸Use the Special as a pseudo-dash for repositioning. It has brief invincibility frames and crosses dangerous zones safely.
- ▸The large AoE explosion from each detonation stagger-locks all non-armored, non-boss enemies continuously.
- ▸When the Zeus/Hera duo boon appears, take King's Ransom immediately and let it purge your Hera stack for massive Zeus scaling.
- ▸After King's Ransom, stack Poms on Double Strike to 100%. A 390 base Blitz with 100% Double Strike produces 3,000+ damage per hit.
- ▸Add a second status effect (Demeter Freeze) to activate Origination for additional damage multiplication on every target.
- ▸AVOID Wide Grin. The hammer makes landing skulls on enemies nearly impossible and is a hard DPS loss.
- ▸DO NOT take magic-regeneration boons. They keep Magick above 100% and deactivate The Huntress arcana buff.
