OP Odachi Build
OdachiStacks three armor set bonuses around the Odachi's strong attacks: Grace of Susano adds 17.8% strong attack damage, General of Kigetsu rewards any active status ailment with a damage multiplier, and Tatenashi amplifies output through Equipment Weight Damage Bonus. Leeching Talisman acts as the status ailment trigger and keeps health permanently critical, while Tenacity prevents the health drain from killing the player. Paralysis via Medusa Powder and Paralysis Groundfire layers an additional close combat damage bonus against affected targets.

Odachi
A two-handed great sword with Strength B+ scaling and the longest reach in Nioh's melee roster. Its heavy strong attacks carry all stacked set multipliers simultaneously, making it the highest per-swing damage weapon for builds that layer bonuses from Grace of Susano, armor set pieces, and status ailment triggers.
Primary Odachi with Strength B+ scaling and a Familiarity Damage Bonus A roll. The first hit against a full-health target deals 15% bonus damage, rewarding aggressive openings before the enemy has taken any damage.

Light helmet used as a Grace of Susano piece via the Ethereal item system. Key rolls are Bonus for Absorbing Amrita (Increase Attack), which triggers on every hit while Extraction Talisman is active, and Close Combat Attack vs. Paralyzed Enemies for the paralysis window bonus.

Target these inherited or rolled properties across armor pieces: Attack (all pieces), Tenacity (prevents death from Leeching Talisman drain), No Guard Break (blocks stagger while guarding), Bonus When Surrounded (Increase Attack), Zero Ki Bonus (Increase Attack), Bonus After Purification (Increase Attack), Increase Attack (Critical), and Evasion Ki Usage.
Charm accessory that reduces all equipped set bonus requirements by one. This enables Grace of Susano 5-piece, General of Kigetsu 4-piece, and Tatenashi 3-piece simultaneously without wearing one extra item for each.

- ▸Deploy Medusa Powder before closing range to paralyze the target at the start of the fight, or set a Paralysis Groundfire at the enemy's approach path.
- ▸Use Suppa Scroll to reduce detection range when repositioning into melee range without alerting nearby enemies.
- ▸Open with a strong attack the moment paralysis lands to immediately apply the Close Combat Attack vs. Paralyzed Enemies bonus.
