The Immortal Sniper
SniperA Sniper built around a post-patch quirk in Targeted Shot. The perk's +75% ranged damage is meant for the single shot that breaks Camo Cloak, but the grace period after that shot lets a high-fire-rate weapon keep the multiplier for the whole window. Pair the automatic Bolt Carbine with Lingering Concealment and every bullet fired in a two-second burst lands at +75%. Wrapped around that loop is a stack of safety nets: invulnerability on manual cloak, a full contested-health cleanse, damage reduction on armour break, and an automatic cheat-death that re-cloaks you when a hit would otherwise kill.

Sniper
The Sniper is the only class with a Camo Cloak, an ability that hides you from enemies until your next attack breaks it. Its perk tree turns that cloak into far more than a stealth tool, layering damage multipliers, status cleansing, and an automatic cheat-death onto the same button.
The automatic variant of the Bolt Carbine and the engine of the whole build. It fires at 600 rounds per minute, which is exactly what turns Targeted Shot's one-shot bonus into a full two-second burst of boosted bullets. The Ophelian Liberation version carries the largest magazine and reserve of any Relic carbine, 40 and 320, so the ammo economy holds up under constant trigger-holding. It also gains a hidden damage ramp inside 10 metres, adding roughly 50% more damage per bullet at the range you will actually be fighting at.
How to Obtain
Combat Strategy
- ▸Equip the Ophelian Liberation Bolt Carbine and the Argent Edge before dropping in.
- ▸Top the carbine off at the nearest ammo crate, since the build burns reserve ammo faster than a normal Sniper.
- ▸Carry restorative Stims to recover green health while out of combat.
- ▸Manually activate Camo Cloak to clear status effects and gain two seconds of invulnerability from Emperor's Grace.
- ▸Stand perfectly still for two seconds so Vantage Point adds 20% ranged damage.
- ▸Pick out a Majoris or Extremis target before you break cloak, since the window is short and wasting it on trash is a loss.
- ▸Hold still and hip-fire the carbine into the target's head. The first shot triggers Targeted Shot and breaks the cloak.
- ▸Keep holding the trigger. Lingering Concealment keeps you hidden for two more seconds and every bullet in that window keeps the 75% bonus.
- ▸Release the trigger just before the two seconds expire so the cloak drops into cooldown cleanly.
- ▸Farm headshot kills on the surrounding wave to refund 10% ability charge per kill through Squad Renewal.
- ▸When you take chip damage and see white contested health, cloak manually so Purification converts all of it back into real health.
- ▸If a lethal hit lands, Emergency Override cloaks you for free and grants five invulnerable seconds. Spend them running the damage loop from inside the crowd rather than retreating.
- ▸Let Conviction carry you through armour breaks. The 25% health damage reduction for 15 seconds is what keeps you off the 180-second Emergency Override cooldown.
- ▸In close quarters, parry with the Argent Edge the instant an attack starts. The stagger opens enemies up for health-restoring Gun Strikes.
- ▸In co-op, cloaking dumps 100% of your aggro onto your teammates. Do not spam it next to a squadmate who is already under pressure.
- ▸Be careful parrying groups of Minoris. Missing the window on the first one can lock you out of parrying the rest while they chew through your armour.
- ▸Stay away from explosive red barrels. A barrel detonating in your face can burn your Emergency Override for nothing and put it on a three-minute cooldown.
- ▸Swap Block Break for Melee Mastery if you find yourself parrying more than shooting, or Lingering Concealment for Persistence if you need the defensive window more than the damage one.
