Servo-Gun Inferno Techmarine
TechmarineA Techmarine loadout that turns the class's biggest weakness into its engine. Plasma Enhancement paired with the Omnissiah's Fury signature perk puts the Servo-Gun on a roughly 15 second ignition cycle, setting whole packs alight so burn damage strips half a Majoris health bar before you fire a shot. Every burn kill feeds armour and equipment back through Fortifying and Replenishing Salvo, while Omnissian Axe Deflection and Defensive Stance stack to 45% ranged damage resistance to cover the missing fortitude buff. The Deathwatch Heavy Bolt Rifle and a Plasma Pistol swap trick delete single targets from range, and Argent Edge stun-locks anything that closes.
Damage
One-shots majoris past 25m via the plasma swap. +45% stacked ranged damage on the Deathwatch, +15% held headshot bonus.
Survivability
45% ranged damage resistance, near-permanent hyperarmour, +2 armour per elite execution. Effectively unkillable at range.
Boss
+20% melee and +10% ranged against Terminus. Trivialises Hell Brutes and Neurothropes with the parry into Shadow Stab combo.

Techmarine
The Adeptus Astartes battlefield engineer. It carries a pack-mounted Servo-Gun that fires on its own while you keep shooting or swinging, and it is the only class able to activate the Tarantula Sentry Guns scattered around each map. It also performs gun strikes without the usual locking animation, so its melee flows differently from every other class. The trade is a smaller health pool and no fortitude or conviction buff to fall back on.

The backbone of the build and the reason every other piece works. Full-auto accuracy makes Chained Headshots trivial to hold, and the Deathwatch Heroic perk toggles an auxiliary grenade launcher for crowd control. It also doubles as a passive stat stick for the Plasma Pistol, because its Remote Threat perk can be inherited by a plasma projectile already in flight.
How to Obtain

The pack-mounted gun that defines the class. It auto-marks and fires at targets without taking your hands off your weapon, and it can be toggled mid-execution. With Plasma Enhancement slotted it stops chasing individual targets and instead guards an area, throwing exploding plasma at anything that walks in.

Combat Strategy
- ▸Bring nearby Tarantula Sentry Guns online before the wave lands. Unflinching Focus makes the activation animation invulnerable, so deploy into the incoming push instead of after it.
- ▸Fire one or two Servo-Gun bursts into the pack to ignite everything at once.
- ▸Inexorable Salvo gives you hyperarmour for the duration, so you can hold position through the first contact.
- ▸Let the burn tick. Minoris die to it outright, majoris lose roughly half their health bar and move slower while alight.
- ▸Every burn kill starts the Fortifying and Replenishing Salvo timers, so the sustain loop is already running before you take your first hit.
- ▸Hold beyond 25 metres and aim down sights with the Deathwatch. Long-Range Barrage and Remote Threat together add 45% damage at that distance.
- ▸Sweep along the head line of minoris crowds so Perpetual Penetration drops multiple targets per shot.
- ▸Toggle the grenade launcher for packed corridors and clustered reinforcements.
- ▸Keep landing headshots to hold Chained Headshots at its 15% cap. It falls off 5 seconds after your last one.
- ▸Re-fire the Servo-Gun the moment it comes back up. The roughly 15 second cycle is what keeps hyperarmour and the armour economy alive.
- ▸For a single majoris at range, charge the Plasma Pistol, fire, then switch to the Deathwatch before the projectile lands.
- ▸The projectile inherits Remote Threat on the swap, which is enough to one-shot a majoris past 25 metres.
- ▸Practise the swap timing on isolated targets first. Mistiming it just means a normal plasma hit, not a wasted fight.
- ▸Save it for reinforcement callers and priority elites rather than spending scarce plasma ammo on trash.
- ▸Parry or block when ranged pressure spikes. Omnissian Axe Deflection plus Defensive Stance is 45% ranged resistance while you are surrounded.
- ▸Execute weakened majoris and extremis targets. Battlefield Repairs turns the squad's Medicae Stimms into a full armour reset plus an extra segment.
- ▸Shoulder Bash knocks minoris down for quick gun strike executions when you need armour immediately.
- ▸Watch your ammo reserve. Techmarine has no passive ammo regeneration, so Increased Capacity and disciplined bursts are the only sustain the rifle gets.
- ▸Against Neurothropes, wait for the downed floor phase and land a fully charged Shadow Stab with Terminus Slayer applied.
- ▸Against Hell Brutes, parry a strike, stagger with the free gun strike, then land a tier one Shadow Stab while the yellow invulnerability flash is still fading.
- ▸Great Might on both the Deathwatch and the Plasma Pistol adds 10% ranged damage to every Terminus encounter.
- ▸Keep the Servo-Gun cycling through boss phases. Burn on the adds keeps the armour loop running while you focus the Terminus target.
