Best Hades Builds

A Hades build is assembled during an escape attempt rather than planned in advance. The weapon and aspect you pick set the foundation, since aspects can change a weapon's moveset substantially, and some aspects are built around a specific boon that you then need to find. Boons from the Olympian gods attach to your attack, special, cast, dash, and call, and the god you take for each slot determines your damage type and status effect. The important thing is that many boons only reach their full value in combination, and duo boons require you to have specific boons from two gods already, so a strong run involves steering which gods appear rather than taking whatever looks best in isolation. Daedalus Hammers modify a weapon's attacks directly and are often the largest single upgrade in a run. The Mirror of Night provides permanent between-run bonuses with two options per row, and the Pact of Punishment lets you raise difficulty in exchange for better rewards.
