When an enemy's stun bar fills completely, the grab prompt glows yellow. Executing a stun grab deals massive damage and often knocks nearby enemies back. Prioritizing these whenever they appear is one of the fastest ways to remove a threat from a crowded fight.
Use Sheathed Fists to Build Stun Faster
Switching to unarmed attacks by sheathing your weapon deals significantly more stun damage than any armed combo. When you want to fill an enemy's stun bar quickly, a few bare-fist hits accelerates the process faster than continuing to swing the axe or blades.
Slam Enemies Into Walls for Bonus Stun
Knocking an enemy into a wall deals bonus stun damage and briefly staggers them. Positioning yourself so a target's back is near a wall before launching a heavy combo maximizes stun buildup and can set up a yellow grab far sooner.

Upgrade Runic Attacks Directly From the Skills Menu
Runic attacks can be leveled up through the Skills menu rather than requiring a trip to a shop. Many players miss this entirely and carry underleveled runic attacks for most of the game. Upgrading them here increases damage and often unlocks a secondary effect.
Don't Invest Heavily in Armor Until Late Game
Every armor set in the game scales well and is viable for completion. Spending upgrade materials on a mid-game set you'll replace is wasteful since those resources don't carry over. Hold significant investments until you have an endgame set you plan to keep.

Odin's Ravens are hidden collectibles that count toward a late-game reward. Enabling the direction indicator adds an on-screen arrow pointing toward nearby objectives, while subtitles can help you catch the distinct cawing sound ravens make before you spot them visually.
Apply Fire Twice to Clear Blocked Paths
