Fully upgraded Kensei Armor is the keystone of the build. It boosts Resolve gain massively, buffs Ghost Weapon damage by 40%, and applies a defining debuff: enemies struck by Ghost Weapons take 50% more damage and deal 50% less. The Tier V upgrade requires New Game+.

How to Obtain
Combat Strategy
- ▸Equip Kensei Armor at Tier V and slot Blazing Flame and Steadfast Fire in the two Major charm slots.
- ▸Fill Minor slots with Fortune I, Fortune II, Fleet Foraging, and Fire Doctrine.
- ▸Hotkey Incendiary Oil and confirm at least one charge of Quickfire ammo is loaded before engaging.
- ▸Throw Kunai or a Black Powder Bomb into the largest group to apply the Kensei debuff to everyone hit.
- ▸Press the Incendiary Oil hotkey and trigger Way of the Flame to ignite the katana.
- ▸Close on the priority target so the first heavy attack lands inside the burst window.
- ▸Lead with heavy attacks. Each one spreads fire to adjacent enemies thanks to Charm of Blazing Flame.
- ▸Mix in light attacks against tougher targets to avoid running out of stamina, then return to heavies for the AoE fire spread.
- ▸Re-throw Kunai or a Black Powder Bomb on any new enemy who hasn't been hit by a Ghost Weapon yet to keep the 50%/50% debuff blanket up.
