About Ghost of Tsushima Builds
Ghost of Tsushima builds are organized around stances, charms, and armor sets. The four combat stances each counter a specific enemy weapon type, and switching between them mid-fight is the core of the melee system, so builds do not choose one stance so much as decide which techniques to upgrade within them. Armor sets are the largest single decision. Each set pushes toward a distinct approach such as standoffs, stealth assassinations, ghost weapons, or straightforward melee, and upgrading a set at a merchant improves its bonuses and unlocks additional charm slots. Charms fill those slots and supply the percentage bonuses, and major charms carry the stronger effects while minor charms handle smaller stat boosts. Because charms can be swapped freely outside of combat, most players maintain a couple of complete loadouts rather than one. Ghost weapons such as kunai and smoke bombs are limited by resources rather than cooldowns, so builds that lean on them need the charms and set bonuses that extend their supply.
