Unbreakable Gosaku Stagger
A stagger-focused Samurai loadout built around Gosaku's Armor and a stack of charms that boost stagger damage and knockdown chance. Enemies and duel bosses break fast, drop to the ground most of the time, and die to a single instant-kill button press. Every execution of a staggered enemy heals you, so even Hard and Lethal fights stay comfortable.
Damage
Stagger breaks in about 2 hits, then an instant-kill finisher
Survivability
Massive health, plus 20% health restored per staggered kill
Boss
Duel stagger meters empty fast in the right stance

The foundation of the build. It gives a huge health boost and strong stagger damage, and killing a staggered enemy restores 20% of your health at Tier IV. The fourth upgrade already covers everything the build needs, so the New Game+ fifth upgrade is optional.
How to Obtain

Major charm that stops enemies from interrupting your melee attacks for 6 seconds after you stagger them. It keeps combos safe while the stagger window is open.
How to Obtain

Minor charm that adds a moderate amount of stagger damage. Equip two copies, since the bonuses stack, to break guards and boss stagger meters in a couple of hits.
How to Obtain

Combat Strategy
- ▸Equip Gosaku's Armor at Tier IV or higher, along with the Gosaku helmet and Kijin's Blood mask if you want the full look.
- ▸Slot Shinatsuhiko and Susanoo in the major charm slots.
- ▸Fill the minor slots with two Bludgeoning charms and Fortune I and II.
- ▸Switch to the stance that beats the enemy type before engaging.
- ▸Attack until the stagger meter breaks, which usually takes about two hits with the stacked Bludgeoning charms.
- ▸Press Square on the knocked-down enemy to finish it with one instant-kill move.
- ▸Every kill on a staggered enemy restores 20% of your health with Tier IV or Tier V armor.
- ▸Chain staggers through a group so each finisher refills health before the next one.
- ▸Use Stone Stance against swordsman and ronin duels, because the wrong stance slows stagger damage noticeably.
- ▸Depleting the stagger meter is the core of any duel, so this build turns each boss fight into a short series of breaks and finishers.
