Henry
Henry is the only protagonist in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. He has no class, just a flat slate of skills (Strength, Sword, Lockpicking, Maintenance, Houndmaster) that level by use, plus perk picks every two levels. The build leans on Strength for heavy weapons, Sword for combos and Master Strikes, and Lockpicking for the cash loop.
One of the highest stab-damage longswords in the game and the build's main weapon once you have the Strength to swing it. Pair with the Scarmaker combo (slash, stab, stab) to repeatedly headshot opponents.
How to Obtain

Five-piece tournament-prize plate set commissioned by Sir Hanush as a signature gift to victorious commoners. Among the highest-charisma armour pieces in the game and a clean visual identity for a knighted Henry. Unlock one piece per tournament win.
How to Obtain

Tier-5 Arab stallion with the highest practical capacity in the early game. Buy it the moment you've finished the Bernard training and the first cash loop. Its 252 carry weight is what unlocks looting tournament plate without being permanently encumbered.

How to Obtain
Combat Strategy
- ▸Wear the best plate you have, even if it's stolen, and keep the Robber Baron's Sword in inventory for charisma checks with merchants.
- ▸Down a Saviour Schnapps or wineskin if you plan to lockpick after the fight, since Luck of the Drunk requires Henry to be drunk.
- ▸Sharpen your sword on a grindstone before any tournament round to maximise stab damage and earn passive Maintenance XP.
- ▸Wait for the opponent to commit to a swing, then time the block on the first frame of the green shield icon to fire a Master Strike riposte.
- ▸Master Strike skips through any guard and stuns the target. Don't initiate the swing yourself, since you lose the riposte window.
- ▸Follow every Master Strike with the Scarmaker combo (slash, stab, stab) aimed at the head. Two face stabs almost always force a tournament surrender.
- ▸When the opponent starts blocking smartly, swap to Zorn Ort: Wrath Strike (slash, slash, stab) to chew through their chest plate instead.
- ▸Back off the moment your stamina drops into the red. Stamina is your real health bar in KCD, since hits at zero stamina chunk actual HP.
- ▸Tight Grip keeps stamina regenerating between swings. Don't be afraid to step in and trade once you have it slotted.
- ▸Heavy plate from the tournament steal makes most early-game bandits a non-issue. Let them swing into your guard and Master Strike back.
- ▸Mut handles add control. Sic! him onto the second enemy in any 1v2 so Henry can finish the first cleanly.
- ▸Tournament fights resolve fastest with overhead head-strikes and Master Strikes. One or two clean head hits and the contestant yields.
- ▸Avoid stab-heavy combos on the heavily armoured Lord Robard or Sir Hans, since their cuirasses eat thrust damage. Use Wrath Strike to soften them first.
