Technique Build
Technique is Lies of P's precision-based combat stat, equivalent to Dexterity in other soulslikes. It governs how much damage Pinocchio deals with fast, agile weapons and determines scaling for both melee weapons and Legion Arms that favour speed over raw strength.
The cornerstone of this build. An S-tier Technique-scaling boss weapon with a unique charged heavy attack that doubles as a perfect guard. Hold the button to prepare the parry, then release to unleash the counter-hit. Its speed lets you match the fastest bosses in the game blow for blow.

- ▸Link Emergency Dodge (Blade)— Dash forward and follow up with up to two additional strikes. Costs 1 Fable charge.
- ▸Wind of Swords (Handle)— Launches a fan of blades that deals AoE damage to enemies directly in front of you. Costs 2 Fable charges.
How to Obtain
The most versatile Legion Arm in the game. At full upgrade it can pull enemies into range, dodge through incoming hits, and launch Pinocchio into a powerful aerial combo attack, making it the glue that holds aggressive engagements together.

- ▸Dodge— Lets you dodge through an enemy attack immediately after sustaining a hit.

How to Obtain
Mandatory. Every hit temporarily increases physical damage output, and the Two Dragons Sword's high attack rate means this buff is constantly refreshed and stacked during any sustained exchange.

Combat Strategy
- ▸Check the enemy type before entering an area and swap between Puppet Destroyer's Amulet (for puppet zones) and Murderer Puppet's Amulet (for human enemies and Carcasses).
- ▸Ensure the Puppet String is fully upgraded with Combo Attack unlocked before engaging any optional bosses.
- ▸Use the Puppet String's Combo Attack to zip into range and open with an aerial strike that deals heavy damage and immediately closes distance.
- ▸Follow the aerial strike directly into the Two Dragons Sword's light attack chain to begin stacking the Arm of God Amulet buff.
- ▸Maintain the Two Dragons Sword's light attack chain against fast enemies, keeping the Arm of God damage buff continuously refreshed.
- ▸Against heavily armoured or high-HP enemies, switch to the assembled axe weapon and use Killer Attack to build stagger while dealing large single hits.
- ▸When an enemy staggers, the extended stagger window gives extra time to land a Fatal Attack. Do not rush it.
- ▸Use Wind of Swords to clear groups of weaker enemies or to deal ranged chip damage when repositioning is needed.
- ▸Hold the charged heavy attack button on the Two Dragons Sword until you hear the ping, then time the release to land on an enemy attack. A successful parry staggers the enemy and deals counterattack damage.
- ▸The Perfect Guard Cause Stiffness P-Organ node opens a free attack window on every successful guard. Combine it with the charged parry for layered stagger pressure on bosses.
- ▸Use Link Emergency Dodge to reposition mid-combo. It extends the attack chain and avoids punishment patterns simultaneously.
