Best Grounded Builds

Grounded builds are put together from armor sets, mutations, and weapon upgrades. Armor sets grant a bonus at three pieces and lean toward specific approaches such as blocking, stealth, or raw damage, and each piece can be upgraded along one of several paths that reinforce different stats. Mutations are earned by repeating an activity, so unlocking them is a matter of playing a certain way rather than spending points, and you can only equip a limited number at once. That slot limit is the main constraint on a build. Weapons carry elemental damage types, and insects have clear weaknesses and resistances, so the practical approach is to keep a small rotation of weapons covering different types rather than one heavily upgraded weapon. Trinkets add a single extra effect and are often tied to specific boss drops. Because the game is cooperative and enemies scale with the world state rather than a character level, complementary builds across players tend to matter more than any one player optimizing alone.
