Lies of PThree Ergo Farms for Early, Mid, and Late Game

P4wnyhof's three respawnable Ergo loops, one per stage of the game: Malum District right after the first boss, Lorenzini Arcade once its shortcut is open, and Collapsed Street once you reach Act 9. Set up your P-Organ, Legion Arm, and Hunter's Amulet first, then farm whichever stop matches how far you've actually gotten.

Before you start

  • Fallen Archbishop Andreus defeated, to unlock the Malum District farm
  • The well shortcut activated in Lorenzini Arcade, to unlock the second farm
  • Act 9 reached (Collapsed Street), to unlock the third and fastest farm

Farm Setup

1

Pick a Weapon and Grab the Ergo-Boosting P-Organ Upgrades

Any weapon works for these farms, but something with a burn or acid coating speeds things up against the enemies you'll be fighting. P4wnyhof runs the Salamander Dagger with the Acidic Crystal Spear for exactly that reason. Before you start farming, pick up the P-Organ upgrade that increases Ergo gained from eliminating enemies. It's available from the start, gets a further boost around Chapter 3, and another around Chapter 5, so keep upgrading it as you go.

Kill the Mad Clown Puppet for the Hunter's Amulet

The Hunter's Amulet boosts Ergo gained from kills and is impossible to miss. After Bishop Andreus, head to the bar area of Lorenzini Arcade and down into the cellar. A Mad Clown Puppet wielding two cleavers waits there, having freed a couple of tied-up NPCs first triggers the fight. Bring an electricity throwable to spam it down, or just strafe around its swings since it's manageable without one. Killing it guarantees the amulet drop.

Max Out the Puppet String Legion Arm

Level the Puppet String Legion Arm all the way, including its Trace Dodge and Attack Link upgrades. Attack Link lets you pull an enemy in, jump up, and slam them down, which trivializes most of the fights in these farms and speeds up every run. If you're doing an NG+ Ergo farm, Simon Manus drops Noblesse Oblige in Lorenzini Arcade on that cycle, a cudgel that adds another 10 to 12 percent Ergo gain from kills while equipped, worth grabbing if you're going for max efficiency.

Loop the Eldest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood

From the Malum District Stargazer just after beating Bishop Andreus, make your way around to unlock the elite enemy players often nickname the Red Lobster, the Eldest of The Black Rabbit Brotherhood. Keep to its right side so its charge whiffs past you, then heavy attack to stagger and finish it. A clean run pays out roughly 611 Ergo for the kill plus two more hits worth about 119 each, all in under 30 seconds, and it can also drop Star Fragments, Vivid Ergo Fragments, and Fable Catalysts for extra Ergo on top. If it doesn't go down cleanly, don't bother finishing it off, just run back and reset rather than waiting out a stopwatch reload. Runs like this land around 100k Ergo per hour, and the Malum District vendor right at this Stargazer sells all the throwables you'll want for the other two farms.

Run the Lorenzini Arcade Enemy Loop

Once you've progressed far enough into Lorenzini Arcade to activate the shortcut at the well, you can reach this farm instantly every time. From the shortcut, turn left to find the first enemy, worth around 189 Ergo, which triggers a couple more to drop in and join the fight for roughly 200 Ergo each. The big payout is the enemy that follows, worth close to 1,000 Ergo on its own, and it's simple to beat with the Puppet String since its attacks whiff clean over you, letting you punish with heavy stab attacks. A burn-coated weapon speeds this up even further, since some of these enemies barely need more than one hit while burning. A full loop nets somewhere around 3,000 Ergo per minute, which is close to 180,000 Ergo an hour, making this the fastest of the three farms once it's unlocked. They also drop Vivid Ergo Fragments and half Moonstones, so it's worth looting between kills.

Farm 3: Collapsed Street (Late Game)

6

Clear the Alchemist Group on Collapsed Street

Once you reach Act 9 and Collapsed Street, swap to an acid-coated weapon since the Alchemists here are human enemies. The Puppet String trivializes most of them, pull in, jump, and double stab, though a couple stagger easily enough from a simple push to the back that you don't need it. Four Alchemists in the group are worth about 600 Ergo each, and a couple of tougher stragglers near the end add roughly 300 more apiece. A charge attack helps stagger the last pair quickly. Loot everyone you kill, since they can also drop half Moonstones and Ergo fragments on top of the base payout. This is P4wnyhof's favorite of the three, both for speed and for the satisfaction of farming the Alchemists specifically.
