Amrita and Gold Farming: Five Spots From Early Endgame to Best

Five reset loops that each end with the same two buttons: pull a pack together, drop the Ibaraki Doji summon to Electrify them, then clear the whole group with one Severing Spin. Amrita is both experience and progression currency in Nioh 3, so every route here levels you and funds you at the same time. The spots are ordered worst to best, so if you already meet the level requirements, skip to Rank 1 at Edo Castle. That is the run the creator clocks at roughly 20 million Amrita and 1.8 million gold per hour, with individual loops taking between 18 and 43 seconds depending on the spot. If you want Divine gear and Yasakani Magatama rather than levels and money, the companion guide covers the drop-focused routes from the same creator.

Before you start

  • A Sword or Katana, since Severing Spin lives on the Sword skill tree. Level 105 for the earliest spot, scaling to a +2 upgraded level 150 Katana for the last two
  • Character level 105 for Rank 5, rising to roughly level 130 to 140 for Rank 2 and Rank 1
  • The Severing Spin Crucible Art unlocked on the Sword tree
  • The Ibaraki Doji Soul Core, set to the Yang Position so it produces the Summoning Seal
  • Power, Fire, Wealthbringer, Luckbringer, and Last Stand Talismans brewed at a shrine
  • Shrine access at Shimabara Pleasure District, Imperial Palace, Shirakawa, and Edo Castle. The last two spots need the Sinister's End battle scroll or equivalent story progress

Rank 5: Geisha House Route

1

Activate the Geisha House Shrine

Travel to the first area of the Bakumatsu Era in the Shimabara Pleasure District and activate the Geisha House Shrine. This becomes the checkpoint you fast travel back to on every reset, so claiming it is what makes the loop repeatable. This is the earliest spot on the list and the one you can reach at roughly level 105.

2

Cast the setup talismans

Before you leave the shrine area, cast Power, Fire, Wealthbringer, and Luckbringer. Power and Fire raise your clear speed, while Wealthbringer and Luckbringer are what turn a fast clear into an actually profitable one. Casting at the shrine means the buff timer starts while you are still safe.

3

Drop down to the lower area

Run to the nearest exit and jump down from the connecting bridge. This puts you on the lower part of the map where a column of enemies marches in formation. Dropping down rather than taking the long way keeps the run inside its time budget.

4

Summon Ibaraki Doji into the marching column

Target either the first or second marching Umbrella Yokai and cast the summon. Do not rush the cast. Wait for the enemies to bunch up so the lightning damage and the follow-up explosion Electrify the entire crowd at once rather than catching only the leader.

5

Clear the crowd with Severing Spin

Position yourself in the middle of the Electrified crowd and cast Severing Spin. The spin covers the whole cluster from the center. If anything survives, a second Severing Spin cleans up the remainder rather than resetting the pull.

6

Loot the drops and reset the run

Pick up every gear and item drop on the ground, then fast travel back to the Geisha House Shrine. Fast travelling is what respawns the marching column, so returning to the shrine is the reset itself rather than just a trip home.

Rank 4: Garden Pond Route

7

Travel to the Garden Pond Shrine

Either boot the Scion of the Gods battle scroll mission or progress through the Imperial Palace Crucible in the main story, then find and activate the Garden Pond Shrine. Both routes put you in the same place, so take whichever you already have unlocked.

8

Cast the garden farming buffs

Start with the staple Luckbringer and Wealthbringer, then layer Fire, Power, and Last Stand. Last Stand appears here and not at the Geisha House because this spot trades a crowd of weak enemies for a single tanky elite, so raw damage matters more than area coverage.

9

Drop to the lower pond area

Head straight for the nearby ledge and drop to the level below. From there you get clean line of sight on the target without having to path around the water.

10

Summon Ibaraki Doji on the elite worm

Lock onto the elite worm Yokai and cast the summon. Hold your position and do not close the distance yet. The lightning palm strike has to connect and stagger the target first, and walking in early just means eating an attack that the stagger would have prevented.

11

Strike with Severing Spin

The moment you see the worm flinch or stagger from the lightning, close the gap and cast Severing Spin to finish it. The stagger window is the whole opening, so commit as soon as it lands.

12

Collect the drops and reset

Gather everything that dropped and head back up to the Garden Pond Shrine to reset the area for the next run.

Rank 3: Yoshidayama Route

13

Teleport to the Yoshidayama Approach Shrine

Start at the Yoshidayama Approach Shrine in the Shirakawa Region of the Bakumatsu Era. This is the checkpoint for the loop.

14

Engage the Yoki immediately, before buffing

Head straight through the nearby gate without casting anything first. This is the one spot that breaks the usual buff-at-the-shrine pattern, because the two Yoki wander off their positions if you spend time casting. Lock onto the Yoki on the right and work to pull both of them together.

15

Wipe both Yoki with summon and spin

Once the pair is close together, cast the Ibaraki Doji summon and follow it immediately with Severing Spin. Both targets are weak to lightning, so the combination usually kills them outright rather than just staggering them.

16

Reset at the shrine

Collect the drops and teleport straight back to the shrine. This spot lives or dies on run-to-run speed, so do not linger.

17

Alternative: use the bell to group themOptional

If chasing the pair together feels unreliable, there is a slower but steadier version. Cast Power and Fire, run to the nearby bell and ring it. The bell staggers both targets and brings them to you, after which you cast Ibaraki Doji and Severing Spin as normal. It costs a few seconds per run in exchange for a far more consistent pull.

Rank 2: Yasha and Galestorm Route

18

Set your checkpoint at the White Drawing Rooms

Load into the Sinister's End battle scroll or progress to the Final Battle of the Edo Era, then activate the White Drawing Rooms Shrine as your reset point.

19

Cast the full buff set at the shrine

Cast Power, Last Stand, Fire, Luckbringer, and Wealthbringer before moving. This is the full five-talisman stack, and from here on the enemies hit hard enough that skipping the damage buffs turns a one-shot clear into a fight.

20

Wipe the Yasha and Galestorm group

Head into the nearby garden and target the Yasha Yokai. Cast the Ibaraki Doji summon on it and follow immediately with Severing Spin. The Yasha is the anchor of the pack, so hitting it pulls the surrounding Galestorms into the same blast.

21

Clean up survivors and reset

Galestorm behaviour varies between runs, so occasionally one drifts out of the blast and lives. Finish any stragglers with normal attacks or a second Severing Spin, then loot and return to the shrine.

Rank 1: Passageway Route (Best Spot)

22

Set your checkpoint at the Passageway Shrine

Travel to the Edo Castle area or open the Sinister's End battle scroll, then activate the Passageway Shrine. This is the best spot on the list and the one worth learning properly, since it is where the roughly 20 million Amrita per hour figure comes from.

23

Apply the baseline talismans

Cast Luckbringer, Wealthbringer, Power, and Fire right next to the shrine before you move. The pull that follows takes a while to set up, so you want the buff timers running from the earliest possible moment.

24

Aggro the first hallway Samurai

Run down the straightforward hallway, turn left, and hug the left wall of the corridor. Take a sharp left, alert the Samurai standing at the end, then immediately turn 180 degrees and run back. You are deliberately not fighting him yet. He becomes the first link in a train.

25

Gather the remaining Samurai

Run straight through the broken wall and head directly for the Japanese partition. This path takes you past the rest of the Samurai in the area and pulls their attention, adding each of them to the group already chasing you.

26

Funnel the group into a tight line

Make a curved left turn back toward the musket-wielding Samurai and enter the hallway directly behind him. The corridor is narrow enough that the whole pursuing crowd bottles into a single line, which is the entire point of the route. A packed line is what lets one spin hit everything.

27

Exterminate the group and reset

Cast the Ibaraki Doji summon, stand in the middle of the funnelled group, and cast a fast Severing Spin. Clean up any stragglers with normal attacks or a second spin, loot everything, then reset at the shrine and run it again.
