Replenish Fable for Free at Hotel Krat
Teleporting back to the Stargazer at Hotel Krat and walking into the training area fully refills your Fable bar at no cost. The bar stays full when you leave, so do this after every tough area to ensure your Fable Arts are always ready.
Save All Rare Ergo to Trade With Alidoro
Rare Ergo dropped by bosses can be traded with Alidoro, found in a side room at the bottom of Saint Frangelico Cathedral. He offers some of the most powerful weapons and amulets in the game. Resist the urge to consume boss Ergo for a small stat boost early on.
Stockpile Fable and Legion Replenishers Late Game
Once leveling costs climb steeply, it becomes more efficient to buy around ten of each Fable and Legion replenishment item rather than spending all your Ergo on levels. This ensures you can sustain your Legion Arm attacks and Fable Arts through the hardest late-game stretches.
Find the Black Market Merchant for Infinite Consumables
In the Malum District, above the Red Lobster Inn, a hidden merchant sells an unlimited supply of high-quality throwables that scale with your primary stat. Unlock his stock by bribing him with a Vivid or Radiant Ergo, or by defeating the Black Rabbit Brotherhood first.

Strafe Constantly to Neutralize Most Enemies
Around 85 to 90 percent of enemies in Lies of P cannot deal with a player permanently strafing to one side. You may catch occasional hits, but this approach saves significant healing across long and dangerous areas. Test it against every new enemy you encounter.
Lure Different Enemy Types to Fight Each Other
Humans, Puppets, and Carcass enemies will attack each other on sight rather than focusing solely on you. Use this to pull different enemy types together in dangerous areas, reducing the number you need to fight directly. Even bosses like the Mad Donkey can be drawn into fights with other enemy types.
Use First Boss Attempts to Learn Patterns Only
In your early attempts on a new boss, don't use consumables or any resources that could be wasted. Lies of P is uniquely suited to this approach because your Ergo remains outside the boss arena when you die, removing the usual penalty for repeated attempts.
Keep Your Weapon Repaired With the Grindstone
A broken weapon deals less than half its normal damage and causes a stun animation on every hit, which is devastating mid-boss-fight. Repair frequently before fights and watch out for Decay enemies in the late game, which can rot your weapon's durability within seconds.

Unlock Respeccing at the Grand Exhibition Hall
Once you reach the Grand Exhibition Hall, a missable key unlocks the ability to reset your level, P-Organ, and Legion Arm. The cost is paid in Gold Coin Fruit and requires a fair amount of it, but it means you can fix a failed build without starting over.
Spend Quartz on P-Organ Before Leveling Up
Unlocking P-Organ phases with Quartz delivers far more power per resource spent than raw character levels. Always check your Quartz supply before a major boss fight. The recovery roll node is a must-unlock early, since being knocked down without it can lead to instant death from follow-up hits.

Sprint Past Enemies to Unlock Shortcuts First
When an area is giving you trouble, run past the difficult enemies and look for a shortcut door or a new Stargazer ahead. Once you've unlocked the checkpoint, heal up and backtrack to fight the problem enemies from the other direction.
Learn Each Butterfly Color Before Chasing Them
Red butterflies flee away from your attacks and can be cornered. Purple butterflies disappear quickly but always teleport to the same fixed spot, so you can intercept them after a Stargazer rest. Golden butterflies are the rarest, have heavy health, periodically explode, and require Fable Arts to kill reliably.
Backtrack Often for New Dialogue and Loot
Merchants expand their inventories, NPCs unlock new dialogue, and side quests that revisit earlier areas appear throughout the game. If you hit a difficulty wall, returning to fully clear previous areas can also restore your confidence and reveal items you missed.

Use Cranks to Match Weapon Scaling to Your Build
Cranks modify the scaling of any weapon to align with your primary stat, whether Motivity, Technique, or Advance. Reaching A or S scaling in your chosen stat provides a significant late-game damage increase. Save cranks carefully since they are rare and costly, but don't hoard them indefinitely.
