About TMNT: Splintered Fate Builds

TMNT: Splintered Fate builds come together within a run, starting from which turtle you play. Each has different base stats, a distinct special ability, and a different weapon reach, so Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael all favor different upgrade paths even from the same reward pool. During a run you collect power-ups that modify your attacks, special, and dash, and the ones that stack effects onto a single ability are generally where a run becomes strong, since spreading upgrades thinly leaves everything mediocre. Charms provide passive effects and can be equipped before a run, which is the main planning layer available outside of it. Permanent progression is spent between runs to expand the pool and improve baseline stats. The game supports co-op for up to four players, and some upgrades that look weak in solo play scale considerably better when several players are applying the same status effects to the same enemies.
